they did a quick reunion tour near the end of 07 or 08, only texas dates since they are from dallAS.... saw them then (around the same time I saw charlie sheen's "winning" comedy tour with jeff ross); and look forward to seeing them again this december.... never saw them in their early to mid 90's heyday.....

tickets.com emails me shit all the time on upcoming concerts, got it from them and it fed into the booking site, maybe through them, i didn't really pay attn whether it was through them or if they'd fed me directly into the house of blues..... either one would work, i'm sure.....

oops, my bad... i thought you asked "who's my bookin' agent".....

yah, i guess i shoulda said "just booked tickets to" instead of the shorthand,.....

          lol

only time I served as a "bookin' agent" was when I had so much pussy in my harem I'd actually pimp em out to guys like JJ that needed help....

those hos were so wrapped around my finger they'd do anything for me.....

I always wanted to see the Toadies but never have.

Saw Incubus on Monday night. They played an awesome set - interspersed about 5 songs off the new album with the hits and then a few deep pulls from all the previous albums. They even did a little homage to Pink Floyd after they played the Incubus version of Wish You Were Here. Also a brief cover of Rush's Tom Sawyer that was pretty cool. I saw them earlier this year at a small festival show and this performance was way better - super tight performance. Great show.

On a side note, can we keep the personal opinions of each other out of the thread? I realize that brooks is a polarizing figure here, but for the love of god, we're just bullshitting about music and shows we're going to. Cool?

Incubus is still alive and kicking?
Damn, they could bring it back in the day.

Allman Brothers band was the greatest jam band that ever was.
                      But that's just my opinion.

Coldplay show was awesome as expected.

Just found out the Struts are opening for foo Fighters which is going to make for a great show. Also matchbox twenty and counting crows coming up.

Incubus would be a sweet show but couldn't make it.

depeche mode are legendary, about to be in the hall of fame soon.

I got foo fights/the struts coming up, feels like a rock show from a different era. Very excited.

When I was like 17 and me and some buddies saw DM at Dodger Stadium. We somehow had all access back stage passes. Actually saw Dave Gahan with his body guard in one of the tents and asked him if we could shake Dave's hand. He just looked at us and shook his head. We went and drank some beer and ate appetizers. It was an epic show and night.

I am doing Cold Play tomorrow with the kids and we did Imagine Dragons on Sunday night. It's family concert season

I would recommend you take a lot of video at coldplay's show. You and your kids are going to have a great time. I've been to many concerts and there show is one of the best.

That was quite a show. Pretty amazing really. There's definitely a reason these guys are selling out 60k seat stadiums night after night.

I was going to see 2 bands from Hamburg (KMFDM and Lord of the Lost) later in the month and LOTL had their work \/isa denied. May still go, but not thrilled about DJ Ritual filling in now.

DM was meh. Sounded great but played their entire new album, which is not bad, and left out several older songs that I would have really liked to hear.

I hate when they do that. I recently sold my tickets to ed sheeran because the profit was too good and the opener, james blunt, was only playing new songs so wasn't very interested.

They're playing 5 (of 12) new songs, not the entire album. And the new album is awesome. And sorry, they never ever play People Are People.

I do wish they would mix it up sometimes. They play the exact same set every show.

Scorpions and Megadeath just cancelled the rest of US tour bc Klaus Meine's severe laringitis... and me had floor tickets, seven rows from the stage ! Wtf Klaus. Who needs vocal cords to sing, anyway? Get in there and honor your obligations, you pussy. Laringitis my ass... On the bright side, I get my $ 310 back.

getting pumped, got foo fighters and the struts this Friday. Foo fighters are playing close to 30 songs which is awesome and the struts opening is going a good time.

Eagles the following friday and that's going awesome, their setlist is just nothing but hits.

Just grabbed QOTSA here too, and also grabbed Judas Priest/Saxon/Black Star Riders for a pretty small venue. May book a quick Vegas trip. Elvis Costello doing a mini residency at the Wynn.

I do wish they would mix it up sometimes. They play the exact same set every show.

I would have liked to have heard John The Revelator, Blasphemous Rumors or Master and Servant instead of a White Lines by Grand Master Flash cover.
