A guy bought 3 sports cards from me totalling over 1000 dollars...checked his address in california and it looks like a store address (like a UPS or similar) & the name matches an someone in that area who was highlighted in a article about a check cashing scheme. Could i get burned for the 1000 i send the cards?

If you have to question it, it's probably a scam

You have an account as a merchant with a payment processor...so you should be covered by their/your insurance in case he does try a **********. That's why you pay them that 1.2 to 4% of every transaction.
