A mattress company in San Antonio has closed its doors indefinitely amid a wave of backlash over its recent “Twin Towers sale” marking the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Miracle Mattress owner Mike Bonanno apologized for an online advertisement of the sale on Thursday, saying it was produced without his knowledge by employees in San Antonio.
Mr. Bonanno’s apology wasn’t enough for many social media users. National Event Marketing announced it was boycotting the company and pulled its inflatables from the store’s rooftop.
On Friday afternoon, Miracle Mattress announced on its Facebook page that it was closing down “indefinitely.”

Being of Arab descent , she was probably partly blinded about the seriousness of this issue. Probably a punchline to her and her workers behind closed doors. I was kind of sickened by her last statement of never forgetting. Not only was it said like she had to fill in the last second of the commercial, but that gleam in her eye kind of looked like she happy our asses got kicked that day. Miracle Mattress is set to reopen a week after airing a controversial commercial that promoted its "Twin Towers Sale" to commemorate the 15 year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, D.C.
The commercial sparked backlash online from across the nation, and forced the San Antonio, Texas-based mattress shop to close its doors for a week. On Thursday, Miracle Mattress owner Mike Bonanno said the shop is ready to reopen.
"Our Miracle Mattress family has struggled with how to respond to the pain we caused and the deserved national outrage over this regrettable decision," Bonanno said in a statement. "Our most important step was to close our doors and remain silent through the 9/11 anniversary. We closed to be respectful to those we hurt and offended."

Where do you see the simulation to the destruction of the towers?
The towers where hit by airplanes loaded with jet fuel which ignited upon impact and burned for 2 hours at which time the supports of the steel floor joists weakened due to the extreme heat burning through the fireproofing. Once the floor joist supports weakened the floors slipped off their seats and fell to the floors below and the towers collapsed by pancaking the floors on top of each other since the exterior columns became unbraced at each floor and buckled to the inside.
I see no fire and no pancaking collapse of the mattresses in video.Comment
