Different world these days. Women in it only for the money, and guys for the convenience of sex.

Sure, that is one of the reasons, but we all would not have been on this earth, if those losers or clowns had not married. Majority of those losers or clowns does not live selfishly for themselves, but they also live for their kids.

Married 29 years here. Up's and downs for sure, and separated once for about two weeks around year 10. We worked it out, and have two kids. One with Autism (non-verbal), and the other one is "normal".

Look you get out of it what you put into it. Talking and "listening" to each other is very important, but do all you can to get to really know who it is you're marring. It doesn't have to be just a sex thing, or a financial thing. If the communication (Oh, and mutual compromise) is there you'll probably be fine.

Well as long as neither of you screw around.

It is good not to be married, but sometimes comes the moment when you need someone and you find smth that makes feel you better near that person. So I think the most important is to do smth and tpo have that feeling of sorry of not doing.
The success of your marriage also depends by you.

No regrets at all, been married 20 years, 2 kids, and I found my best friend for life. If someone tells you that marriage is work or tough, they married the wrong person.
