another parent-teacher conference..... summer school sucks

DonkLand receives a call from School Administration, as the result of some half-wit summer school teacher bringin' a left over "gingerbread Christmas" kit to school for some second graders.....

well, apparently, some 7th graders at the school workin' out in the gym (all summer school classes were, rather unwisely, consolidated at the jr. high school, where athletes have free run of the place after working out), including my stepson, decided to visit the 2nd grade class after their mid-morning workout, while that class was away having lunch.....

this pretty much sums up why I'll be meeting with administrators tomorrow morning:

I plan to tell them something along those lines, may even recommend to the principal, after noting the quality of the work, that they put it in the school time capsule they plan to seal up sometime next year, to be opened in 200 yrs.....
