It will only get worse. The way cops are treated now is not going to lead many good and smart people to want to join the profession. Besides the physical risk they take every day they now have to risk losing their freedom to overzealous district attorneys who make decisions based on political reasons. So the good ones are probably going to start looking at other professions and we will be stuck with the corrupt ones, the power hungry ones, the racist ones .... that is what we get as a society for always trying to find excuses for criminal behavior and being unwilling to muck it up a little bit to fight it.Originally posted by IlluminatedOne
