given that cheesy lookin' beret that dope is wearing, it looks like these two are still in France, where that face was carved before Lady Liberty was shipped to us..... so, what this must be is the little guy that carved the face on the left, and the lady who "modeled" for the face is on the right.....

You know what i am going to give it to you. The more i think about it i think your last guess was right. The actual thing was TWO people posing in front of the STATUE OF LIBERTY WHEN UNPACKED. And you did mention 2 people. Although they are just 2 random every day people in the picture. But remember just 1 guess per person but i am giving it to you because i feel your last guess technically won it.
