If Russian Rocket has a reasonable explanation for what he did, he can write in. As it stands, he hasn't made contact with anyone from SBR to discuss what led to his infraction. His restriction is for the safety of the forum. Posting invisible images that are hot-linked to phishing websites is going to get you banned every time. It is not with pleasure that an active poster gets banned, but it was absolutely necessary.

I did lose a little but I enjoy his analysis even though others may not. I also respected your thoughts on the trend early in the CFL season and not bucking it if it was working for you. Hope you guys can squash it, if not just ignore.

so it was a photo from the "deadliest catch captain poster at sbr thread"

I just went and looked through that, and did come across a photo that should have not only resulted in a ban from sbr, but also an immediate castration of the subject in the photo:

The original photo (the one above) was already out some time ago. The photo of Casey, is just a generic photo found in any google image search and both were originally posted by someone else (no viruses so far)....All he did was crop Casey's face onto and over original photo's face as seen in post #29 in above thread. Any half ass Virus/malware protection will show, if you scan any of the images that no virus was attached when originally posted at 4:55 est yesterday and post was never edited.

I personally thought it was a great crop and cut job done and posted within 35 min after original post made #26 in thread above. Also, while looking through other thread's where RR has posted, he seem's to alter original posted images/meme's often, adding his own twist of humor. The original image above seems to resemble a member on SBR that cross dresses/dressed which has been posted before as i am looking, not sure as of now, if image was originally posted by the member it resembles. If it was, and expected compliments on your hair and not a field day at your expense, then shame on ya. Posting that on a forum who most are 3 sheets to the wind or look to find any angle to take a shot at others, really isnt the best decision. Most of us still laugh at farts, how is that image going to get a pass?

So, either there is more to this story than we are assuming, like PM's or a thread i did not see which has been deleted. Someone has been butthurt in the past and RR was warned about taking shots at certain other members. Or it has something to do which we know anything about. Being new here, I dont know anyone really, or anything about any drama between members or moderators (which i dont try to get involved with ever), so i am just showing the evidence that can be found by all.

Hope this gets figured out and he returns, I thought a lot of his posts were great. If this cropped image was the reason for a 6mo ban, then favoritism is in the equation, since many,many other images, photo's and comments make this seem vanilla at best.
