How do i stop an outside hose from running - the thing wont turn off

no basement im in fla...city says if they turn off the water it shuts the water of the house. ive turned it as far as it can go but there is still water coming out...wtf?

There's still a shutoff valve. Look in the closet that faces the street. Anything that faces the street. Under the sink,
toilet/ bathroom etc.

The valve will shut off the house water. You will need to turn that off to fix your problem anyway.

You have completed step one by consulting the forum. Cool, I do it sometimes too.

Turn off water to house, replace valve. If you do not know how - go to youtube or elsewhere to find out, grab a friend (with tools if you do not have them), grab six-pack, and a joint, and 30 minutes after the doober is done, so is job.

For a short term (or long term) measure, get a one way (or two way) valve that has its own shut-off(s) and attach to your spigot. Home Depot, Lowe's etc have them. I actually have attached a two way valve on my outside spigot so I can run two hoses in different directions. I also live in Florida.

Looking for the shut-off valve -- under the sinks valves just seem to shut-off the individual sinks.

take a screw driver and take off the faucet handle, then take a wrench and turn it off that way.

If that doesn't work, put your hose in your neighbors yard for the night and call a plumber tomorrow.

friend of mine had the opposite end of this equation....

ho told him "I want you to fuk me with ten inches and make it hurt!!!"

so, he fukked her twice and hit her in the head with an iron.....
