no problem with the moral.... but our "justice" system provides that the police simply apprehend criminals so that they may face the consequences of their actions via the courts and, if convicted, due their time....

police are not supposed to act as judge, jury, and club-wielding executions, doling out punishments with dozens of unprovoked near-lethal blows to the head with nightsticks, etc.....

imagine if you accidentally left your favorite grocery store with a case of beer you forgot to run through the due it yourself pay station scanner because it was on the underneath section of your shopping cart, and a group of these jack-booted gay SF cops attacked you and put you in the hospital......
