Completely unnecessary use of service weapon. If the guy is terrified of a dog wagging his tail and sniffing air, try and imagine what he would do in a high stress scenario. If NYPD refuses to discipline the officer then I see no problem whatsoever if he were to be shot dead on street to balance the scales. An embarrassment to the uniform and people he has sworn to protect and serve.

Just read the story, I agree with you completely. This man is clearly not cut out for law enforcement to react like that.
