Have been all over the world.

Few places take my breath away like Tahoe.

      Enjoy.

Lived there in 80.s - supervised The Sportsbook at Caesars when Terri Lani owned it. Mount Bleu now--went downhill. Great for those who ski. Go right from Harrahs to top oh Heavenly Calif side. William Hill operates from both Mount Bleu and also across the street at Planet Hollywood. 50 yards to West of there -is Harrahs and Harveys. Go mile east --there is a independent book at the Lakeside Inn. [LOCALS PLACE.] eat BREAKFAST AT THE DRIFTWOOD orTHE RED HUT--AGAIN LOCALS place. From May thru Oct Tahoe is Heaven on earth. Going Thursday weather permitting. gl all.

Tahoe is awesome but have not been or a while. I was supposed to go for a week last year but there wasn't any snow I never really gamble much when I am there, usually ski Heavenly and Kirkwood.

Tahoe is everything they are saying it is. Skiing right there, lift from stateline, casinos, etc. all at South Shore.

I go there all the time.

It is not a short trip to or from Vegas unless by flight.

Love Tahoe. We were there this past June and stayed at Harvey's. I was looking forward to checking out the Hard Rock (used to be the Horizon). The place was like a ghost town which was a shame for a new property.

lol...you probably through me out of Caesars when I was a kid...lol

Times have changes and managing the book is a whole different ball game with the conglomerate. Hard Rock is across the street, not Planet Hollywood, but William Hill in both and offer live trading.

You must remember Del Webb's High Sierra and back when Harvey's and Harrah's weren't in the same bed.

                      Things have changed a bit.

lol -you are right- always get Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood mixed up- and yes I remember DEL WEBB-- IT was The Sahara first.. Caesars was originally PARK TAHOE- built by the PARK family. Man it was hopping with people then-I actually started wagering in 69--only 18 - at RENO TURF CLUB and CAL-NEVA. GL ALL-thanks for all you guys not blasting me.

I recommend that every sports fan go in mid July to watch the Celebrity Golf Tournament.

The guys are very approachable on practice days and you'll have a great time...the weather is perfect and the scenery cannot be beat.
