yeah you got a point here, however I just head that of the people judging these things almost all of them were white and over 60 years of age. now that should be an obvious problem. right? they world isn't all white and old. to be fair everybody should be included in those decisions. not saying you are wrong in your observation but the playing field should be level. MLK Day is the worst holiday. What if black people celebrated it with parties and fried chicken or whatever? The rest of the country would see a good time and join in. That's what Mexicans did. The Irish too. The Italians are still working on it with Columbus Day.

Instead MLK is just a grievance day, where black celebrities in Hollywood (who lack for absolutely nothing whatsoever) use the power of the press release to announce how unfair life is towards them. It's a wasted holiday.
