What's the source for it. Was there some huge poll that they did last election that I missed? Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's accurate.

That's interesting cause nobody has ever asked me that question before. Not a doctor, not a researcher, no questionnaire ever mailed to the house, nobody ever called from a phone poll etc. So who exactly did they ask to get their data? Was it a bunch of inmates in prison? Was it done on one specific college campus? Things like that can dramatically skew data. For example if they asked people in an extremely liberal area versus people from an incredibly religious, conservative area. How long ago was this data collected? That's as important as who did they ask. Is the data from the 50's or last month? I get where you're coming from and I respect your right to an opinion on the matter, however I trust raw data more than I do some unsourced stat floating around on the net that may or may not be conclusive and/or outdated. At least with a forum poll, I'm ensured of recent data and respondents from various backgrounds and demographics.
