Then he sues for a settlement of 36 mill as anyone would... Now after 2 years of being free, they pick up the charges again saying it was him.. Where's donk, isn't that double jeopardy ?

I am always 100% on the side of the cops/prosecution, but in this case, I can't be, no matter how hard I try.

This is a tragedy and an embarrassment to the system. Does anyone think this guy doesn't have reasonable doubt?? The framing facts are just so incredible...

who else would have killed the victim?

who else called her numerous times on the date of her death, including using *67 to do so?

who else called her company and requested that the victim come to his junkyard on the date of her death?

and lastly, who else is now claiming that his own brother probably set him up for this murder?

at worst, it seems this case is a lot like the oj case, where the cops felt a need, foolishly, to plant evidence to help secure a conviction of an obviously guilty suspect.....

I have a few pics from few years ago in front of the avery sign. I got married in Manitowoc county in two rivers actually on point beach where the first lady was raped, this doc is one sided but super crazy seems like he will get a retrial. cops are dirty but I cant say for sure one way or another if he did it or not, If he did it wasn't how the nephew said, the kids bro and the hunting dude seem super weird and they didn't look into them much, also the old bf too

Hard to say for certain if he's innocent or guilty. For me though I just cannot overlook how many holes the prosecution had in their case and the case they presented had zero hard evidence. No blood or her dna at supposed crime scene where killing took place as they claimed. His blood vial had clearly been tampered with so throw that evidence out with his blood in her car for me. Her keys took 3 trips to find and were wiped clean with only his DNA conveniently give me a break. Shell case they found did nothing for me either. Most troubling was how they went after his nephew with his original lawyer and investigator clearly working for prosecution.

Maybe he's guilty who knows but obviously some very troubling facts that don't look good for prosecution side. Averys quote "poor people lose all the time" definitely true. Whole system is a joke cops, lawyers, judges etc mostly scumbags working in a joke corrupt system so no shocker just another day in our justice system that truly has minimal liberty or common sense for many.

I just started watching this to see what it was all about. Holy crap. This story is incredible and mesmerizing.

The poor dumb kid got screwed. People should get the juice for that crime.

The guy probably did it but boy did he get screwed the first time. His attorneys were terrific. Even though I think he probably did it, I would have had to say reasonable doubt if in the box.

The cops were crooked as hell regardless.

Good trial attorneys, but they missed some things. His new appellate attorney is the best in the country. He'll be out within a couple years or less.
