No state is allowed to accept them. The American S.A.F.E. Act 2015 passed by a 2/3 house majority has effectively stopped any refugees from entering the country until controls such as those proposed by the many of the red state governors mentioned in the OP are instituted. It's veto proof, both democrats and republicans have voted for it. News media hasn't covered this because it shows partisan agreement with the governors in the OP. Doesn't look good for your democratic congressmen to be aligned with the same republican's the media is skewering... but they are.

They may not be allowed to accept them going forward, but they're already here

My objection to this stems from the fact that we as a country are feeding too many freeloaders anyway. If there are millions of these refugees trying to leave, would it not be better for us and them to spend half of what these people will cost us to move into our neighborhoods on weapons to give them to fight for their country.

Pros: we spend half as much money that we don't have anyway

We don't have to take care of food, housing, medical expenses, education expenses, and every other expense that we would ,without question, end up footing the bill for not only this group of refugees but also a good part of each professing generation of their offspring.

We don't take the chance of letting anymore crack pot radicals through the front door.

These people get the opportunity to live in an area that is a better fit for them culturally.

Cons: None that I can think of. Even if we spend twice as much money on this plan now it will no doubt be cheaper than never ending drain on our treasury as we continue to provide for this wave of people and each generation of offspring thereafter as mentioned above.

The only problem that I see with this plan is if the refugees are nothing but cowards who are afraid to fight for their country while others from other countries voluntarily fight for their freedom for them. If they are a bunch of spineless cowards, do we want to take them in anyway. Obviously, they won't fight for our country if needed if they won't fight for their own.
