There are more job assistance programs and educational grants available to blacks and low income people today then ever before.. Again, neither you nor I are the right person to judge the efficacy of their actions. Sometimes it takes extreme action to garner attention. This is a point I haven't made strong enough, I actually agree with you, I don't like the way they went about this. I would not have done it that way and I believe they're being counter-productive, but I stop short of having a problem with it because I understand that I can't understand what it is they've gone through, what they're going through nor what they're trying to accomplish.

It reminds me of the Bernie Sanders debacle in Seattle, I was there when the BLM movement shut it down, I didn't agree with how they went about bringing attention to there movement but they've been largely ignored for a relatively long time, so maybe they feel that they have no other choice. I dunno.

You have your obstacles and I have mine, but they have their own obstacles as well, then on top of those obstacles they have, they have to deal with institutional racism and economic disadvantages, simply because they're black. Those are two obstacles neither of us have ever experienced, because we're not black. This is where walking in their shoes comes into play.

It would be like me telling you something about being at war. I couldn't even begin, I've never been in the military and if I tried, you would quickly correct me, because i never walked in your shoes, never gained that perspective.

Last weekend i had to have some tax issues took care of, my accountant for some reason or another request payments via Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart. I arrive at my local WM yesterday and two black women have an old battery laying on service center desk, rust on both terminals and just really old. The clerk cleans away the stamped date and it reveals it is 5 years old and beyond pro-rate refund. This lady starts telling young clerk she's only doing that to her because she's "Black". Service center Manager hearing the commotion comes over prints out the rebate rules and eventually convinces the women she has no return on battery except the core value. Then the lady places three boxes candy on counter and goes to pay with her tax-payer EBT card, machine rejects her card and here we go again, the young girl is being told she's doing it to her on purpose cause she's "Black" this girl cowered and at this point about 10 damn minutes and line to the produce section, i tell the two women to get out of the line, people have legitimate business to conduct in a voice of authority. They looked at me like i was the first person who's ever told them what's up when they decided to go on some ghetto rant, thing is, they never said a word to me and exited store and entered a waiting Cadillac escalade parked in the fire lane.
Krack, i live in an area where not many blacks live and i thank God for this blessing. These folks are out of control and the story i told you is something that happens all the time to people just trying to work as a Clerck, waitress/waiter, Police, customer etc. I remember not long ago black people had a good decency about them with close family ties and sense of community and nowadays the culture has eroded and only a fool wouldn't see it.

Bottom-line if your "Movement" has a bases in morals, decency and honest character it may go somewhere, but the sense of entitlement today in the year 2015 is absurd.

You know I think many if not all caucasians harbor some racism. Certain thoughts you may not be proud of, purposely walking on the other side of the street when approaching a man of color and other thoughts and actions that when looked at objectively simply aren't fair. But, we rationalize with all types of excuses...I must be careful, often they are dangerous, better safe than sorry. However, I believe that black on white crime is not common. It seems that most of the blacks when killed or harmed are same race crimes.

To be truthful with you, and this is not self praise or looking for any type of positive recognition, I was a little surprised at the blatant racism on this forum. I have read things about people of color that I have never heard by anybody in person. I know it is easy to say or write anything on a computer but I am afraid that these people actually mean the crap they spew. I also realize that many of these people are young and uneducated, so you get what you get. Some are so proud of their racism and actually believe they are superior humans.

With any of this shit going on in the news and you saying you would love to live in Feeguson, Baltimore, Chicago in the slums where you can carry weapons around hopped up on PCP disobey authority yet be entitled to whatever the fuk you want then that would b chalked up to the dipshit category.
