Well to be fair flying out of a California airport its state airport "policy" that you can fly with up to a HALF POUND as long as you have a card.

But I've flown out of cali dozens of times without a card never with a hiccup. Have also flown out of Midwestern and east coast airports without a hiccup.

So every state is different duck. But my opinion is if you out a reasonable about in your carry on (1/2 ounce or less) and have no other nonsense in there you'll be stress free.

I fly one way all the time and if your boarding pass has 2 X's that get circled by the checkin agent you better eat you stash or dump it because you'll be pulled out at the detectors for a more "personal" inspection aka they empty your bag item by item and interrogate you about flying one way.

P.S. Never mention gambling or poker as a reason for one way travel. They fuk your bag and clothes up looking for money.
