While we don't have an emperor, other factors are showing a history of repeating itself. Another 50 years, we won't
know the USA as we knew it, if it's even here at all.

not really. that's an exagerrated canard. Roman citizens were not especially perverse.

Yeah, really. Was watching one of the discovery channels the other night. The one 70 yo emperor was sodomizing little kids. When he was done with them, he had them thrown off a cliff and anyone who opposed him.

What about the perverseness of the catholic church? That's in our lifetime.
