    Longer tem investment.

Look up Dollar Cost Averaging. Although if you have a few $$ you will likely understand.

OIL gentlemen. I'm n BDO and USO. Bought last week and again yesterday on the dip.

    Any other ideas appreciated.

Understood thus $ cost averaging my way in. A given countries or companies cost to deliver is the key. Each dollar down some country/company is no longer profitable. A ton of companies are highly leveraged. Once the lenders see the bottom line shrink they will stop lending.

Also demand is expected to continue to increase. The cheaper it is the more people will use.

      Good luck!!

As much as I avoid averaging down in my trading, I don't hate the idea. Something like this can only go so low. Demand will catch up sooner or later.

Agreed. Way more upside than down.

Also, all the world needs is some sort of "event" and who knows.

At around $44 a barrel for West Texas Intermediate (WTI), oil will probably hold its ground near the lows it hit twice earlier this year before bouncing higher.
Here’s why: The low-$40 range for oil is roughly the average cost of production, globally. Going below the average would suggest a lot of projects would get scrapped, pushing down supply, which would support prices, says Will Riley, an oil sector expert who helps manage the Guinness Atkinson Global Energy Fund . In short, right below here is the price that serves as a psychological barrier for oil.
“It is a level that people perceive will cause supply to decline even faster,” says Riley.

Getting crushed right now. You need big balls to play here.

Not happy right now, but not panicking yet. I have enough room to DCA down. I'll get worried under 35.

Google the Saudi GDP. Venezuela, Saudi's subsidize gas to citizens for like 6-15 cents per gallon. Someone's paying for that. Venezuelans in line for food but gas 6 cents.

My MAJOR concern is the devaluation of currencies.

People love misery so this might become a very popular thread if I keep crashing.

JJ get Opie to check in would ya!! He's in oil right?

I've been a moderately successful gambler since I was pitching nickels and dimes (the real N&D) 50 years ago. I've made way more money here.

Not real sure how to respond to Kraken/Coochy but I bought the market after the 1987 crash, sold before 2000 and sold before 2007 so class is going pretty well thank you.

Trying to keep it positive and help but seems some just can't resist.

For the record I went 10K/10K a the time of the original post and 5K/5K n the first drop and 5K/5K Monday.

Do the math gentlemen. Up like 15% in 3 days.
