So my yearly membership is up on the 16th. I forgot for months that I even had it.

I need some ideas on what to take advantage of in the next week or if anyone can give me +ev reasons to pay the $100 to keep it for another year. I don't do much shopping online, anyone suggest anything to get that free 2-day shipping before I'm done?

I watched prime a ton the first few months I got a tv in the bedroom because I didn't want to put cable in there, now it's mostly Netflix. Not a big tv show watcher unfortunately.

Hahah. I unfortunately, or fortunately, have just about everything I want or need. The only things I buy nowadays are works of art from local dealers, physical silver and commemorative coin sets. I've been searching for a good half hour now though trying to find other deals out there to take advantage of.

For my family, Prime is amazing. My wife reads about 3 books a week, so Prime and free shipping is sweet. Plus awhile back I ordered more weights for the home gym, and that was +ev because the shipping was free on something that was heavy.

Other than ordering a lot of stuff, Prime isn't worth it unless you like the movies and series that come with it.

Personally... I don't see any value in purchasing PRIME for the year. Bless you guys who see the superior value.... I don't see the value. There's hardly any movies to download that has any value. I'm not a book reader... that might be the problem. And... the 2 day Shipping only is good if you're a shopoholic... I'm not though..

I have prime. Use it all the time, cant beat the free shipping, super cheap prices. You say you have everything you need...always need more deodorant, tp, soap, razors, new clothes, shoes. Tou can buy anything on amazon

I was looking at shoes today, might buy a pair before the week is up. Clothes for the most part I'll only buy in person. So far I'm thinking a few hundred easy this week of goods before making the decision to keep it.

Same happened to me .Contact them via live chat and let them know you're still in school. They'll cut the price in half

And I order everything on Amazon. Saves me a trip to that shit hole Walmart. Plus, the amazon video movies/series selection is almost as good as netflix

If you are not still in school, just apply for a local community college they accept everyone, to get a .edu email then sign up using that, but have amazon info goto usual email just get link and sign up through .edu email

I do literally all of my shopping except for groceries at Amazon. I had prime when it was $80 a year and last year they upped it to $100 and I still stayed in. I used to make a killing on it when I hardly ever had sales tax collected but since Feb my state has collected tax so it's not as great as it was.

Still the free shipping on things you buy plus Prime has almost all of the HBO series now available makes me want to keep it. Their movie selection kinda sucks tho.
