Hannibal Buress' show not good at all.

I caught a replay of "Why?" tonight, and it was terrible. Shame too, it had a lot of hype around it, and Buress does a good stand up. The sketches weren't funny or even that original. When Buress was telling jokes, they'd pan over to the audience like 30 times. Really awkward. It reminded me of when I would watch "The Contender", and they would show the fake crowd stand up and cheer when nothing was really happening.

It's unfair to compare it to Chappelle, but it's set up a lot like it, so it's going to. I don't think it's going to catch on.

It comes on again on Wednesday. Give it a shot and let me know what you thought.

in all seriousness, Hannibal will be remembered for two things: 1. his serial killeresque name, and 2. "yah, well you raped people"

He's not that funny ...he's okay but he's no patrice oneil r.i.p. saw him live at the oddball comedy tour a while back wasn't that good

Only been one episode so far. I will give him the benefit of the doubt of a single season.

Many great shows did not really hit their stride until a number a couple seasons in.

Comparing it to Chapelle's show is like comparing NBA players to Jordan. It is just a crazy standard against which they are being measured.

Watched episode 2 last night. It was a let down for sure. I doubt they will make a second season.
