hell yes, big fish on up there in years, such as that large drum, start acquirig the parasites (they look like large sperm), at an early age, such that by the time they are old adults, their flesh is nearly comprised of nothing but the parasites.....
even with specks in the 15-25" range, you'll find them while fileting the fish..... i cut them out, some rednecks down here just consider them "part of the fish." fuk that.......... I'll post a few photos of them..........Attached FilesComment -
