This show's first episode was fantastic.

Very Fincher-esque. The main character is vaguely Fight-Club narrator like and the feel (tone/soundtrack/cinematography) is reminiscent of The Social Network. The characters are three dimensional for the most part. As for the techy-realism it does the best job I've seen.

Pretty awesome really. I can only hope that subsequent episodes are nearly as good.

yeah, but ray has been out a few seasons... thats why it didnt make the brand new show cut...4 seasons or so down, but cant go wrong with banshee and strike back either... the movie channels put out some good shows...

network tv seems to kill good shows before they get going... Forever was rated one of the best shows of the year and it got cut after 1 season... i think it will get picked up..maybe netflix and hopefully Stalker will too... while garbage shit like csi cyber gets renewed... crazy

Mr. Robot is pretty excellent so far. Can't watch it with the wife or else I'd be pausing to explain what's going on every two seconds. Same with Wayward Pines

yup.. wayward pines has to be watched alone, or else you wouldnt be able to hear a fukking word over the woman yapping question after question in every scene...

i watched ep. 2 of mr.robot again... it got me thinking about the one really bad thing that show has going for it... christian slater and his awful history with tv shows... im not talking about voice over shows like robot chicken, that has been around forever... im talking about how he has a bad history of starring in extremely shitty tv shows that get the ax fast as fukk... maybe he just picks bad roles or has a shit publicist ... we will see

I give Christian Slater a pass based solely on True Romance. I honestly couldn't remember any other TV shows he had been in, so I checked the IMDB and it's a literal wasteland of shows that only ran one season. That being said he hasn't killed Mr Robot in the first 2 episodes, so that's good news. Maybe he got new management.

Donovan comes back in a week or two I think. Can't wait to see ole Mickey stir some more shitt up.

And Banshee is addictive as hell. Didn't really care for the last two episodes this season but overall definitely a top tier show. Great mix of character plots with the insane bow tie dude and Amish gone bad types.

I didn't quite understand the part where he turned the TV on and saw the stuff about his dad. I thought he already knew all about that. Couldn't quite make the connection, if any of you out there know better than I do, holla.

I could be mistaken if there is a deeper meaning to it...but I took it as Slater's character chose to leak THAT specific info from the hacked files to the media so it would get out and Elliot and the girl could see the F Society is helping them...kind of a sorry for tossing your ass off that rail onto the rocks the other day but I am actually on your side deal.
