Mr.Robot: best series since True Detective's 1st season

meh, i see in digressing the last few eps... breaking bad last season was awful... tried way too hard and was really reaching...it was nothing like any other season... i know thats not what you meant, but thats how i see it... its reaching too hard and killing any realistic aspects it might have had early on.

ray donavon, on the other hand is over achieving... extremely good season so far ... first few eps. of hell on wheels have been entertaining also

Do you think if it would have gotten to where it is right now at a slower rate, say 15 episodes, that it would have been better? In the back of my mind, I was thinking that it was going too fast and would be hard to top week after week.

hard to say.. i enjoy the show, dont get me wrong... 3-4 were great eps. and 5-6 not as good for me... of course, its all a matter of personal opinion ... i was just left rolling my eyes at the prison shutdown/escape and the entire episode 6 really... i have no doubts there will be more entertaining eps. there is a lot going on now and i think each scenario can hold down a few eps on its own...

just binge watched the first season. was solid overall, but Christian Slater is still cringeworthy. hopefully the writers will realize his character is just a tedious distraction and will bury him in season 2.
