#46not all americans hate slavery INSIDE the U.S.... Those who claim that Americans won't tolerate slavery WITHIN THIS COUNTRY need to scratch their summer vacation plans of a trip to Graceland, and get your asses down to DONKLAND:
I'll demonstrate to you people of such limited, opinionated minds just how very well alive slavery in the mother f'n U.S. is.....Comment -

#48OK, Americans SAY that they do not approve of or LOVE slavery, but support it by buying products produced by slave labor. The receipts are there for those that choose to read them... On the internet, in the newspaper. Do you really need a receipt from the store to know what is common knowledge? Do you really not KNOW why jobs are moved overseas? Big biz likes cheap labor to increase their profits.Originally posted by zertYou wrote all americans love slavery. I said I dont love slavery. Now you write if I buy goods I promote slavery. #50So do small businesses like family owned shops who can't afford to build multimillion dollar factories. Huge majority of products you buy from big box stores aren't bought overseas by said big box store. They are bought wholesale from tiny businesses who yes, outsource the product, in order to maintain margins and compete while surviving. It's not as evil as so many make it out to be.Originally posted by PittsburghPlayerOK, Americans SAY that they do not approve of or LOVE slavery, but support it by buying products produced by slave labor. #61[QUOTE=MoMoneyMoVaughn;24183871]It represents losing.
Who wants to fly the flag of a losing team?
Completely agree. We didn't let the British hang flags over our state houses after we trounced 'em. We don't fly Nazi flags or Japanese flags after they surrendered. Nobody, as they laughably said, is gonna fly the ISIS flag over our White House. And the confederate flag has no right being flown over any government building in the U.S. Leave it at a museum where it belongs. Welcome to the 21st century.Comment -

Gadsden is a better flag.
And regarding the flying symbols of a losing effort....what about the trendy wearing of the Guy Fawkes (Anonymous) mask at protests and other movements celebrating that dude.....he lost to. Of course the people who wear the mask have no idea of the history of it they just follow along with the crowd...much like the people suddenly offended by the state flags....who are as of this afternoon protesting in streets in cities burning both the American flag and Confederate flags together....so just goes to show you the pieces of cloth are not the issue...it's the people behind all of the nonsense.Comment -

#68I think PP is saying at least be aware of what you are doing when you buy products made with slave labor wages. There may be little choice, and buying things that are made only by workers that are paid fairly may be nearly impossible in the world as it exists today. But, know that you are supporting slavery in many ways with the purchases you make.Comment -
