I was just down in Midtown at Wayne State... Made sure to get the fukk out of town before fireworks started.

Heard it was supposed to storm tonight and there's ALWAYS a shooting every fukkin year downtown during the fireworks. I stopped going about 4 years ago.

Just got back we had a great time.Watched from heart plaza right on the Detroit River.They had to start them early because of storms supposed to roll in.But storms dodnt hit till about now.Detroit has 3 casinos and one across the river.Only shitty thing is most have $15 minimums.It would be nice to have a couple $5 tables during the week.

Ive always thought Downtown Detroit needed some type of pier with a huge ferris wheel or something entertainment wise.Roof top resturaunts also do awsome down by the sport venues.JJ Gold should open a spot DOwntown.

I actually stopped going once I had kids. Took my kids 1 year but watched it from the Windsor side. Just not worth it and I carry my piece everywhere in Detroit. Just too much riff raff
