Most kids have no business going to college anyhow and why most don't finish...for those who do finish after overpaying for extended education make less on average than most factory workers.

Yeah nothing wrong with buying a home at all twist. It's actually a very good investment if your willing to go the haul. Just pointing out the parallel obviously having kids IN college is the same as saying I'm a "homeowner". Having kids IN college is not an achievement until they've graduated and really done something with it which most don't it's a fact. And your really not a "homeowner" till the house is paid off in full or you got enough equity in it to rationalize that claim financially speaking.

And I'm a blue collar kid myself btw. Remember having a talk with my h.s. guidance counselor almost 20 years ago now ...wow time flies! She was asking the standard what's your future plans b.s. and where you going to school? I said simply I'm not going to college cause 75% of those who enroll don't graduate, those who do are not making what they should for most part and I don't wanna be 70k in the hole at 22 lol.

Now this was going on %'s 20 years ago but nothing has really changed since. She was surprised and tried coaxing me saying despite my grades she knew it was effort based because I have tested rather high in many areas and had a sharp mind/wit. I said yeah maybe but I won't be one of the 75% casualties I know that I'm gonna be just due to the fact I don't give a shit about your system.....7 years later I was making mid 60's in sales job and well over salary of the avg college grad without the the sheet or unwanted debt

But in Midwest 50/60 for a single guy has you living very comfortable! Actually been planning on moving back out west myself here lately and Vegas is the target! I live a different life than most tho, no kids (thank fukking God) no wife so life is easier for the nomad fun lover
