I have to disagree on this story. I eat chicken 4-5 times a day for the last 2.5 years. I always purchase my chicken in bulk. I've never had food poisoning. Never had the sh#$s. I don't know which companies were tested? I don't know how accurate the report is? I don't know why reports would hammer poultry companies in general? Story is so false it's sickening.

I guess it's called campylobacter?

I've had food poison because of old tuna before. Never had food poison because of homemade "grilled chicken"

i love chicken. i hate fish. so the answer is chicken.

it's fukked up though, chicken, beef, pork, fish, etc. everything contain some harmful shit that we don't need in our bodies.

that's why organic is the way to go but how can you trust them to be truly organic?

I have no insight into this story - but your own experience means nothing unless it said "73% of chicken caused food poisoning"

A) the bug present doesn't mean it'll make everyone sick
B) Considering how lax inspections are, and how poor factory farm conditions can be, I'm surprised it's not higher

I eat more chicken than most people do. Practically every meal. Yes, it's by my choice... but wouldn't percentages show that I would of been effected by now? I sh#$ good and everything. Proud to say it. My theory is... if you sh#$ well without the need of toilet paper... you're eating right.

If you require half a roll of toilet paper or more when you poop... something is wrong with your diet.

Food standards are based on normal consumption levels. If you eat 5 times more than average then the levels of hormones and anti-biotics and other crap they add to the farming cycle these days may not actually be safe for you.

Again, presence of a bug doesn't mean you'll get sick. How it's stored, handled, prepared etc.
