My Marine Uncle was shot in the neck and bled to death. Memorial Day is for him.

His five younger brothers, also Marines, served with honor. Veteran's Day is for them.

Here is what a "Broken arrow" sounds like. This was actual radio transmission between air, command and ground forces engaged in an ambush. Respect to all who served in Vietnam.
At about 8:10 a cobra pilot coming in tells ground command to tell his guys to get down, He only wants to see "assholes and elbows"
