It's state by state, some states require that you have to show that you weren't able to retreat before using deadly force, most states if you can show that you were afraid for your safety and life, you have the right to shoot.. If it's a "fist fight" most states won't buy it, but if the assailant was also with a crowd and etc it can pass as assailants in numbers can show that you were afraid of your safety and life.. Rather not see anyone die but if it that's what it takes so be it. That women in the vid that was jacked in back of the head and fell was really disturbing. People have died being victimized like this and it's senseless.
