No not even close. I went on an unreal run of my life to get to this amount to be honest.

After the final four Im going to reset with a starting roll of 10k and bet no more than 3% max on a play. Honestly it's just been a feel thing for bet size. Usually bet $500 a game on average

I really want to start my own businesses. What do you do?

A great simple business that doesn't cost much to start, has decent demand and great profit is renting poker tables out to people for home games. Home games because people are willing to pay almost what it would cost to buy a table for a single night because the size of tables makes them a pain to move without a van and they don't want to store them for a once or twice a year thing. Depending on your city you can probably get more work than you can handle with free ads like Craigslist, or a small spend on google adwords targeting just your local area. For around 1k you should be able to get 4 or 5 tables and chip sets and 20 chairs which should earn you about $500/wk for about 10 hours delivery man work, mostly on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Plus you need a van of course.

Probably should not keep mentioning this to people when they ask your question but as long as no one else does it in my city. Just make sure you set your price high and stick to it. Work out the cheapest you can buy a table for in your area and charge about $20 under that. Trust me, people will pay it. In my city I can get $175 for a table/chips/cards/shuffler/chairs delivered and picked up for a night. (don't let anyone transport your tables, they will damage them 90% of the time and keeping them in good nick is key to repeat business)

If you want to make it more complicated but a lot more income, offer a topless dealer package for stag nights. Around here $800/3hrs is about the going rate. Dealers cost 80-100 bucks an hour so you get about $500 just for schlepping the table to and fro. I like it real simple so I just refer people who want that to another company and that company uses me when they need extra tables.

I think this would work in just about any city.
