I did when I was a kid. Tuna Casserole, cheese pizza, fish sticks... those were my friday dinners

Wife is worried me past will send the soul to a bad place and she talked me into it a couple years ago. Doubt I'll ever be officially Catholic but God and I have an understanding

Was doing well enough but I forgot and took my son for McDonalds after school last Friday

His mom is on another kick so no worries for him but I did feel bad for a while

Just a rule by the Catholic Church. It's Old Testament. New Testament where Jesus is your lord and savior releases the Old Testament beliefs. Not here to question anyone's beliefs but that is what religion and churches believe. GOD is in all of us and just having a relationship with our source, our CREATOR is all that matters. Not a church goer but still maintain the Catholic Church guilt. So, yes I abide the no meat Friday but today ordered a veggie pocket delivered and when the driver left I opened the bag and of course it's a cheese steak in a pita. Ate it. It's the thought that counts.
