lesson here is, if you have a mentally ill kid, and you want them to remain alive, don't fcking ever call the cops on them.

i could seriously link a dozen stories right now if i wanted where parents called cops to help with a mentally ill kid and the cops gunned them down like dogs.

the most egregious of those stories that MAKES MY penetrating BLOOD BOIL TO THIS DAY, was where a cop said, "penetrate this, we don't have time for it." and blew a god damn kids brains all over the wall.

gun involved, or someone makes a move into the pocket, etc, shoot to kill...no doubt... but a clear as day screwdriver? sure, it can kill you, but if its easier to get to the gun than the taser, i dont know why there is no protocol for crippling them instead of shooting to kill... just curious

It's a legal issue. If you shot someone it's only because you "Feared for life". If you shoot to wound it means you did not fear for life and secondary weapon should have been used. It's a bunch of Lawyer B.S.
