#16Miami if you have money, outside like Ft Laud if you want to be able to be more affordable.
Seattle is great. Boston is an awesome city. NYC.
Too many factors, list the lifestyle you lead and i can narrow it down.
Big Bear's post is humorously accurate, but you don't have to have $$ to live in SD.Comment -

#17BTW, I live in Columbus, OH. It is actually economically decent and the city is big, and swings from detroit status to LA mansions depending where you're at. I plan to get out of here, but FWIW..it's a surprisingly diverse interesting place to live.
I like warmer weather though, hence planning to move to FL. I'm im my mid 20's, and also am looking to move to a big city next year. I still am juggling the thought everyday. Hope you figure out the best place for you is if you're planning a move. BOL manComment -

#26I'm surprised none of you geniuses have mentioned NYC. He asked for mid-big cities, not BIG cities e.g., SanFran, Miami, Chicago, Boston etc...see those are all BIG cities. JJ, Richmond VA aint bad, Va Beach area not far, Charleston SC is great but might still be xpnsv, Charlotte NC is fine and so is surrounding area. These places nothing like NYC but have fair amt of Yankee transplants.Comment -

#28Define 'big city' Coach. Are you wanting a tiny geographic area like NYC with people stacked on each other or a sprawling area with still tons to do? And weather...weather is key.
