Does anyone recommend an Imac or a macbook pro?

We have the iMac, 27" I believe, and like it

it's plenty fast for everything we do

no video editing, not a ton of music or anything

probably overpriced but it really is a solid computer

Stay away from proprietary anything, software/hardware. Build your own PC is the best way, install Linux (my recommendation is Mint), Apple would be the worst choice, best of luck.

Also, stay away from Toshiba, they are living off reputation from the past, no good today, this is from personal experience. According to research, Sony no good either.

Ya they're def overpiced. we love our iMac but we paid for it. I don't know anything about building PC's and guess at the time I wasn't wanting to put int he time to learn, only to build a piece of shit. So Ido t mind over paying for certain things sometimes.

Toms hardware has a good forum to browse on this topic. Go there and use their search function.

Just go into Best Buy and they can give you an education and you can play with them and see what fits your needs and budget. Then go home and check pricing out. They are all comparable and prices have come down tremendously. Still like Dell's but hate the new windows version. Apple is awesome and has great support. PC magazine great resource that reviews all the technology. I use my iPad for everyday use and carry it around, the best!

Iphone 7 is likely going to be released in the fall

Apparently it's going to have 2gb RAM processor and a dual lense camera with 21megapixel

Im due for an upgrade in April and planned on getting the 6 plus but may have to wait
