Are you talking about all the near miss shots hitting all over the place constantly?

I thought that was a bit overdone.

Considering all the oscar hype around it maybe i went in expecting too much but thought it was just an ordinary movie that glossed over a few areas that could have made it more impactful.

saw American Sniper tonight....

honestly i didnt really have high expectations for it but i thought it was a really good movie.

i was not aware it was a true story until the end of the movie.

I thought Bradley Cooper did an excellent job of acting. He is one of those rare super star type actors who can play so many different roles.

Those are two I will watch again either through Red Box or Amazon.

I got a few good laughs from The Wedding Ringer. Probably not for everyone & it might be worth waiting for it to come out on DVD but I don't feel like I wasted the money to see it.

It's a small movie Oscar this year - they needed one big budget.

I agree they glossed over some stuff.

The movie made him sound like he was a "well I was raised a god fearin man...so yeah I believe in God" when in truth, he was a borderline religious zealot who viewed the war as a Christianity vs. Islam religious war.

From a non-American. Not really. Just shot from a US soldier POV.

It was fluffy and niced up for a mainstream audience was the main problem. It had great promise but wimped out I think.

Propaganda? maybe a little but everybody knows War is bad.

it was a really good movie though. Great acting and it flowed really well. Very entertaining and it kept u on the edge of your seat.

American Sniper sucked out loud... so fvcking boring. It's basically a Lifetime movie, but with bullets flying. Who cares about this so-called hero? He's just a sociopath who'd been given a license to kill because he wears army fatigues. Total propaganda.

American sniper. Movie got point across was geared for Hollywood mainstream people who don't know any better. Still can't believe in movie actor portraying C. Kyle surveyed area with shooting scope. No cover over scope either. Lot's of little things that just iriatate. You'd think Clint would have hired a real Navy Seals Sniper to get these little things correct.
Not saying i know anything about sharp-shooting….ive read a lot of books…just sayin'
