#74Agree, great place to retire but not raise a family unless you have good work down there. LOVE Wilmington. Great place . If I was to live in NC it would be that area beaches are gorgeous and there are a ton of relocated Yankees in Raleigh area.Comment -

#77Correct. In addition to everything I said, they're a conservative state which might fit your ideology well. Also, they ironically have a large LGBT population which could also be important to you
Seriously though, although both are true, it's a great state to live in. The term "Southern Hospitality" is the real deal. They have some of the best food trucks around BY FAR. In fact, they created an entire food truck park in downtown OKC to hang out at and watch the Thunder games. Some of the food trucks are very gourmet and run by guys that have competed and done well on the reality TV shows.

#78Twist,
You mentioned NC. I live in the Hampstead, NC area between Wilmington and Jacksonville. We're 10 minutes from the beach and housing isn't to bad. I bought a 2000 sqft 3BDR, 2 car garage, frog, screened back porch in a golfing community for 180K. Payment is less than 1100/month which includes taxes and insurance. Gas is 2.15/gallon in the area. Weather is mid 90's/70's in summer and 50's/30's in winter. The schools are rated from 7-9 on a scale of 10 (google Topsail school district). We have a few pizza joints in a 10 mile radius (Real pizza, Max's restaurant) besides your Domino's and Pizza Hut. If you are looking for the big sports we have UNC, NC State, Duke and Carolina Hurricanes within a 2 hr drive. The Carolina Panthers more like 3.5 hrs. We have 6-8 golf courses within 30 minutes and Myrtle Beach is 1.5 hrs away. Insurance for both my vehicles runs about 115.00/month (full coverage). Wages in the area aren't the best (8.50-15.00) but if you're running your own business I don't know how much that matters. Hampstead is considered a retirement area and has a high influx of tourist during the summer due to the beaches. I lived in St Louis for 13 years and I'm still a Cardinal fan but would never move back. I enjoy getting up in the morning, going outside looking up in the sky and seeing my Carolina blue.Comment -

Well done
The only exception I have is that it's not a semi douchey challenge, it's a complete sell out douchey challenge
I realize that
But here's the thing scummers, my time here is limited. I'm back at work full time, going to the gym 5 times a week, gotta walk the dogs 3 times a day because we have no yard, traveling back and forth between OKC and SEattle still. Something has to give and it's probably my free time on here because Mrs Kraken is getting fed up with not seeing me much
So if I can get D2D down here and film a fight between us, my time here won't have been a complete waste. I'll feel like JJ would finally validate me. Plus D2D seems like a great guy and we'd probably get into some trouble down here which would be fun.

Sour, meet me in OKC this weekend and I'll show you the town and a few of our rent houses, 10% off for any SBR poster wanting to rent it. Could change your life forever palComment -

#95for sure, i feel ya, hope to see one of these pan out. i like the whole 'republican' angle too. im a pretty nice guy, i need a reason to hurt someone, even if he's a reasonable dude, if i could equate him to a buffoonish republican, simpleton type, it would make it easier to throw him a brutal beating.

God I wish just one would show up. Opie can afford the flight here, maybe Payton is a republican. LGR is an oyster plus he's broke from decades of voting against his own personal interest.
But alas, if no rethuglican wants to show up, D2D is as good as they come! Maybe he's secretly a closet R :PComment -

Should look into Columbus, OH
They have great restaurants, and the population is pretty healthy as well and cost of living is really cheap compared to the population ratio.Comment -

#97i keep it soooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooood. semi NW, $600 for a clean 2 bedroom in a 4 plex. neighborhood is shit, but i've never had any problems (as far as robbed or shit stolen) i fought a couple drunk shines once, but that was because i was doing my 1am hour walk and one of them made some crack about some 'fat white boy', they were a little mistaken, although i was at my 'fattest' at that point, i tried to walk away, just couldn't, turned around and said, "which one of you nig.gers is getting their nose broke." it was on...
mostly blacks and working class mexicans, few white trash types here and there.
for a single dude, im fine with it. although i admit, these high end apartment complex's are fcking dope. but the same place would cost me 1200+. so i keep it hood. i've balled before. that's so 'early 20's'.Comment -
