It's funny that Philadelphia acts like their cheesesteaks are better than anyone else's. They're all the same. I've had better cheesesteaks in western PA than Pat's or Geno's.

everyone that is from the area says they aren't even top 10 yet alone #1 and #2. But its like being in new york and not going to Katz Deli i guess. Another place that is really overrated

Last fall my wife brought me home a cheese steak from what was supposedly the #1 joint in Philly and is was just ok.

Their grill against my grill, I'll take the Pepsi challenge with anyone of those "Best Cheese-steak in the world" places from Philly.

Best I ever had was out of a mobile kitchen outside lowes in va beach. Dominic's. All lowes stores in the area had them selling cheesesteaks in the parking lot. They were the best and I know my shit when it comes to this. Provolone. None a that cheez whiz bullshit.

Growing up outside of Philly, my MOST missed meal now that I live in Vegas is a cheesesteak, a bag of Herr's potato chips and a cold birch beer.

Cheesesteak with provolone, fried onions and hot peppers on a crusty Italian roll and a little ketchup. Jim's on South St has always been a fav if the line isn't too long.
