Im 5'11 and weigh around 205 but it's redistributed itself over the last few years from back and legs to midsection. Honestly, I don't even care about my weight, it could go up, down or neither and I wouldn't care (right now). But I do care that I can't see my abs anymore. And that I don't feel energetic through the day but like I'm coasting or just on cruise control. I miss having tons of energy.

#46I will be updating this thread periodically with pics. Maybe once a month or so.
Over the last few years, I've focused a lot on school and work. My overall fitness, health and physique shows neglect. I told my wife the other day "I think I'm getting chubby". She said "Nah, you're just soft."
OUCH!
But she was right. I've definitely gotten soft and put on some midsection weight. And I feel like shit.
So, my main goal is simply to feel better. To have more energy throughout the day but to also gain back my confidence I've had most of my life that is now fleeting.
I will also be interested to see if I am able to get off my pain meds. One interesting fact about pain medicine (from a guy that's been on them for almost 5 years now) is that they strip you of all motivation which isn't exactly ideal. Previously when I was training though, I felt better than ever before. But this is not of any importance to this thread. It will be all about the PICS
My main means to accomplishing my goal will boxing, muay thai combined with some modest diet changes, lots of road work and a day or two/week in a traditional gym to hopefully at least appease King Mayan.
I'm very excited to be at the point where I'm so disgusted with how I've let myself go that I'm going to act on it today.

I gained a lot of weight from Thanksgiving til now... first day back at the gym in a long time was yesterday. Lost 4 lbs in one workout. Probably water weight? But my goal is 1 lb a workout. Should be back to normal by March 1. GL Pal.
Raydog - I'm sure you probably tried this trick before... but if you're eating lean meals... and want to gradually bump the weight up more... you can try throwing 4-5 peanuts for every meal. I know it sounds stupid... but it works. Problem is... you will more than likely lose some CUT in your definition. Hard to put lean mass on unless using enhancers. Of course you already knew that.
JToler - You can't gain weight? Peanut Butter pal. Just eat a few scoops with each meal you have. Do it daily until you're at the weight you want. It's actually pretty easy.Comment -

#52got tired of being the little guy... about 1.5yrs ago i was 150 wet... in good cardio condition, but just a small guy... wanted to get rid of some back pain and put on some muscle... went and got bloods done and my Test level was that of a 60yr old guy...(in the 300s, which can happen to any guy at any age) years of drinking and extra stuff kills Test... started trt and instantly noticed a difference in attitude, energy, strength, appetite...all the stuff you expect... you have no idea how much better i feel with less bodyfat and 25lbs of more muscle... my goal is to reach 190 and be at 10% bf or less...to do that ill have to push above 200 at some point... it will be very hard....ill see how i look and if i dont like it, i know how to drop it... i dont care about body building comps or any of that shit...i would have to get to 195 or so and then drop 30lbs in order to compete in amateur stuff... fukk that.... im too old and dont feel like putting my body through what it takes...just a little dude trying to be more healthy...
tms, yeah, i eat some almonds with most meals or throughout the day... only Natural peanut butter at 2 spoonfuls before bed... i usually wake up 4-5 hours after falling asleep and drink some whey and maybe have more peanut butter or little sandwich... eating is hard... taking plant enzymes has helped me consistently get above 4500 cals when i want... ill throw in a 8-9000 cal day every 10-14 days ... then hibernate for half a dayComment -

#57^^^ always choose the injections...most guys get tired of going to the clinic and paying 20-25bucks a week, so they get a script and inject themselves or they search the forums and find legit sources for pharma grade Test...
the topical shit is awful... can give rashes, more acne and its harder to dose... an adult male shouldnt develop more than a pimple here or there on the back or side while on 150-200mg test e or test c per week... the acne starts when you start running full blown cycles with 500mg+ of test and other stuff
if they dont offer an not intramuscular injection at your dr., tell them to fukk off and go somewhere that doesComment -

#59Hey raydog, does test at that level increase risk for cancer or heart disease? I read that's why men get heart disease more than women--test. Also--do your nuts shrink at those levels and if they do will they prescribe hcg?
I am asking all this because I have noticed a dip myself. I have been drinking every day for a couple years and have noticed a drop since then. I am in the process of cutting back and hitting the gym regularly (ny's resolution). So I am trying to do it without adding test, but am wondering if it will work. I have run a few cycles in the past and once ran a test/deca cycle only to realize 4 wks in that the test was counterfeit. Didn't notice anything until years later but I always worried that I fukked myself up there. This was all before the "low t" thing and years before I noticed anything. So I am thinking it's more about being fat, lazy, and drinking too much than that, but it's in the back of my mind.
I am sure I could do research to figure this out but now that you bring it up I am curious to hear what you have to say about all this. ThanksComment -

#60go get bloodwork done.. make sure to specify that you want to know what your test and estro levels are...
i dont know exact #s that would be considered Low Test Levels... but, at 40, if my level was less than 500, i had already decided to start trt... at 200mg a week my levels were back around 750 (normal or a bit higher) no need for arimidex/aromasin for gyno (nipples) and no noticeable nut shrinkage... if you notice it, hcg should be started... if you start trt, its a lifelong thing...you are on it...
heart enlargement/possible disease etc. can "possibly" happen when you hit the massive doses of test (and other compounds) and really start to grow all over again...although i dont think there is much of anything out there to prove any of that.... at trt levels, all you are doing is bringing your levels back to normal, so no need to worry about heart issues or the nuts
the fear of test is so ridiculously overblown its crazy... too many people, that dont have a clue or any experience, seem to have the most opinionsComment -

thx for the good advice! Boxing was straight cardio man, 1 hr of it with minimal breaks. Hated it but in a good way.
problem for me with high intensity workouts is that I FEAST afterwards. I'm starving like an Ethiopian. After class last night I grabbed a nice size portion of chicken teriyaki and rice and plowed through it. Then was hungry two hours later. bacon and eggs today.
Mai honestly don't know if I can cut calories. Not sure Id have the energy to complete te workouts but I'll try it and get back with yaComment -

#63the big protein shake, right after workout, is key for not only pushing protein into the muscles, but to help you not devour the entire buffet post work out... some quick digesting carbs, after workout are recommended.. rice potato pasta (obv. along with meat and veggies)... you have to have some carbs to replenish glycogen levels...
when people ask about shedding fat, i just tell them to give Carb Cycling a try... instead of cutting carbs to the bone and making yourself miserable, carb cycle ... few carbs one day, more the next, more the next, then as little to none as possible...thats kind of how i do it..with my heaviest carb day being on Leg day... google it... cutting carbs, along with some hiit exercising is what i recommend to anyone wanting to drop weight
chiarchie has made major changes to his body in the past.. guy is full of knowledge about this stuff... or what worked for him... everyone is a little differentComment -

#65no idea if you will actually start producing more... i do know that none of that over the counter "test booster" shit works... its an awful gimmick
even though im taking in plenty of test, i still take ZMA before bed... its just a pill that contains high amounts of zinc , vit B and magnesium ... you could easily just take the 3 vitamins as well... z and m are supposed to aid in producing higher T levels and greater muscle mass ... they are better than any overpriced test booster garbage and i can almost guarantee you that every man is deficient in both
booze and stuff is known to limit building muscle mass, as well.. so its all tied in...i would get bloods done first, but if not, give the booze a break, eat 1-1.5x your weight in protein daily, give the zma and a multi daily a go and hit the gym... see how you feel in a month... if you still feel like you arent able to do what you should, then its def. time to get the blood work done and go from thereComment -

#66There's always numerous variables to someone's workout diet and what they are trying to achieve. I've done a lot of research throughout my years and I've narrowed it down. Not saying I'm a "master or guru" but... I can get anyone in the right direction to whatever they want to achieve.
Rule #1 What do you want?? Size/Mass OR Lean/Athletic? You honestly can't have both unless you are doing steroids or some HGH etc. I ask this because... Let's say you're a dude that wants to bench press 300 lbs etc. Well... you need calories and energy to do this the "healthy - legal" way. But, you'll never have a 6 pack stomach. You'll never have an athletic frame. You can try and try and try all you want... but you won't look like that ripped dude in the gym.
Now the other side of the coin... you want to be that guy that wants the Lean/Athletic look? No problem. Can easily be achieved. But you won't be benching 300 lbs and squatting 500 lbs etc. If you do see a guy that's doing it with ease... he's on steroids or some form of enhancers. So... you have to make your own decision of what you want etc.
So you say you want to be the guy in the middle? Lean Athletic and Size Mass? Good luck... no possible way to achieve this... unless you are doping.
Again... I'm 37 at the moment... and probably noticed a decrease in strength at 34 or so. Not only that... but your metabolism changes as well. I never injected steroids... but yes... I orally cycled. When Sosa, Bonds, and McGwire were hitting bombs... you could get em right over the counter. Christ... GNC was selling them. But when the Investigation in MLB... of steroid use occurred... GNC pulled out of everything they thought increased strength... ILLEGALLY. But there was a few stores online that carried it for about 2 years after... until the government got a hold of them... and forced them to shut down. These companies soon reopened under different names... (word gets around in the gym) but the newer products they were selling weren't as effective as the original.
How potent was the original??? And what were the side effects? Very potent. And I couldn't see any side effects. I slept well... had amazing strength... gains were incredible. Between each set I was recovering like the Incredible Hulk. Hardly any rest in between sets. But when the 2nd and 3rd generation of the products were released... My heartbeat increased like crazy. I sweated a lot more. I slept like sh#$. In fact... honestly...I couldn't sleep. The sh#$ made me stay up all night. A typical cycle lasts 2 months. So imagine not getting any sleep for 2 fukking months?
There was another products I tried... Raydog told me about it in a thread awhile back. It gave you some good strength... but I had soreness in my shoulders... and ridiculous lower back pain. Christ... it could of been my kidneys flaring up? Which is a bad sign. Too many negatives outweighed the positives.
And the million dollar question always comes up.... when you're done with your cycle... do you keep your gains? Do you keep your mass? You might keep it for about 7-10 days from your final dose... but during the 3rd week you feel like sh#$... and you won't be putting up the numbers like you thought you would. So the answer is NO. You lose the gains. So what's the point in doing steroids? I guess to look cool for a few weeks? Maybe praying your gains hold after the cycle? It won't happen.
How does Sylvester Stalone do it? I believe he's on HGH. I'm sure he touched steroids earlier in his life... but when you have the $... you want HGH. I'm also sure he does the minimal amount... and has a physician that tells him how much to inject in his body etc.
Again... you want MILD DOSAGES. You don't need to be Hulk Hogan overnight. Be happy with your gains. As for THE ROCK... take a good look at that dude... guy is massive now. Like a brick wall. People should realize though... it's not natural. Nothing he did was natural. The only way you keep solid like that... is injecting yourself every 5-7 days.
What do you need to do if you want to be lean and athletic? Protein is the truth. You need it. Maximum amounts. Look at links on the internet... it's based upon your current body weight. If you begin to be constipated after a week doing this... and can't sh#$. (I've heard stories.) It's because while you're consuming the protein... your meal isn't balanced with healthy carbs and vegetables.
My hernia doctor told me during a check up... "It's your life... be who you want to be. Do what you want to do." Very positive man... and intelligent guy. It's the truth... but to anything that causes you pain or discomfort while cycling on steroids... your body either has too much of a high dosage... or you bought junk/poison. Your body will tell you. Listen to your body.
As for myself... I chose to be Lean/Athletic for many reasons....
1. It's natural.
2. It's your true strength.
3. No toxins in the body.
4. Don't have to worry about excess medical bills from doing a steroid cycle.
5. I sleep better.
6. I wake up refreshed.
7. Less stress on your heart... from excess body weight.
But again... to each their own.... do as you wish. We all have to face accountability for our own actions when making these choices. Time tells the story.Comment -

#67what you were buying back then, that some are still around are called Pro-hormones...they arent anabolic steroids... a few of them are as potent or more than the popular oral anabolic , dianabol (Dbol) ... i tried some a while back.. they killed my appetite to much...some people get real big with water weight on them though
you wont notice anything except better skin and sleep off hgh for the first 5-6 months... you wont see any strength or noticeable gains ... huuuuuge misconception about hgh...
test prop you can feel it working in a few weeks.. e and c takes around a month before you notice the strength kicking in, but the appetite is much bigger ... the only side effect to cycling a lot of Test only is a little acne and your nuts will shrink a little...doesnt really happen to everyone and hcg during keeps them plump ... if you cycle correctly, eat right, take an AI to control bloat and gyno and do a proper post cycle protocol for a month, then you should be able to keep over half your gains...the other part you lose is just water weightComment -

Possibly I was taking pro-hormones. You remember Anabolic Xtreme company? Superdrol? I can't remember the original bottle's formula??? Don't know if they called it Superdrol or not? They used a Red Coloring for the bottle. It wasn't the NG formula... I remember that much. That was some amazing stuff.
i tried that Super DMZ 3.0 from IronMagLabs... couldn't even finish the bottle... massive shoulder pain... have no clue why??? Never had shoulder pain in my life... and also mega lower back pain. After my last dose... 10 days later... all the pain went away. Have no clue what was going on. That's why I think these manufacturers are just throwing stuff on the market to keep revenue sales going... and not testing the stuff out.
It's a great feeling to have when you're on a cycle... blowing out the rack... girls checking you out etc... you feel like you're a KING. The side effect is... what goes up must come down. The negative is... if you don't find the right manufacturer... or physician to guide you... your body isn't worth a sh#@ when you're crashing.
Raydog... you also talk about post cycle therapy. Isn't one of the drugs you're suppose to take.... used to treat Breast Cancer? That's what freaks me out... Could of sworn I read that somewhere before.Comment -
