    How do you define a high maintenance girl?

    I'm seeing this girl who insists that she's "very high maintenance" on the basis that she needs to fed compliments, and "Wouldn't be okay if you didn't talk to me for a week".

    On the other hand, this girl literally spends no money on her hair or makeup, doesn't give a shit about shoes or purses, and is otherwise admittedly a very frugal woman.

    So, does this woman sound like she's high maintenance to you?

    It could also mean she requires alot of your time, if not your money. Just because she doesn't spend alot of time making herself attractive for you it doesn't mean she wont require you to devote large amounts of time making her feel like she did.

    Personally, when i was single i had more extra money than extra time, so this would be a deal breaker for me.,

    She probably just likes using this phrase to increase her value. Its just a mindset for her.

    Yea... "High Maintenance" to me means 'feelings of entitlement, with no basis'.

    there are two different types of high maintenance. monetary and emotional.

    seems you have the emotional high maintenance type. they are worst than the monetary high maintenance. it means you will not be to watch MNF because american idol is on and you cant go in the other room because she wants to spend time with you. also forget about playing video games EVER.

    monetary you can just buy them a purse so they will stfu.

    Well, I should mention I'm a fight fanatic, and thus far in the relationship she's watched every fight with me. Hell, last week I was at her place and we watched the fights in her bed before we ******.
