I'm glad I was forced to go to these as a kid...atleast I somewhat remember what real music was....great white, scorpions, pat benatar, ozzy, pantera, aerosmith, johnny lang, quiet riot, steve miller band...just a few of the ones i remember....good stuff and my vote is for pat benatar... Great stuff Steve thanks. A while back i started an under rated Guitarist thread. Someone posted to check out Terry Kath. I had listen to Chicago before, but never realized how good this guy is. I can see why Hendrix thought highly of him. There is something about the way he plays. Someone else could play the same cords, but they would never be able to get it to sound like he does. Kinda like the way Tony Iommi couldn't get the sound he has, till he lost part of his finger in a stamping accident. Not that he is even close to Kath. 25 or 6 to 4 is my favorite song by Chicago.

Pretenders in their not very long career never put out one bad track.
Not one filler on a CD, nothing.

Everything was quality.

Not too many CD's you can say that about, usually you get 2 real good tunes, 5 pretty good tunes. 3 'filler' tunes.

Billy Joel's The Stranger was as close as a perfect CD as it gets. The only song off of that I might consider 'filler' is "James"
