It seems we are always so negative and trashing each other. Let's post some positive vibes for this weekend.

I got a really unexpected raise today, granted not much, but it helps.

I went and bought some Jack and Coke, plus some Vino for the wife. We are going to sit on the deck overlooking the creek and listen to our Jazz/Blues. We are going to get stupid a$$ drunk. Ha, she already made her own plays on the Longhorns and Cowboys! I just found out she has her own Sports Account! Before, she always went thru mine in case she lost.

I guess bloody mary's will be for breakfast!

Wife and I sat out by the fire pit and had some wine. We talked a lot about friends who had passed(in a good way) and again realized that life is fleeting. Enjoy every minute you have.

But honestly --- The folks are coming down and staying with us for a couple of weeks, so getting things ready. The old man has a heart issue, so now sure how many trips to FL he can make.

i had a stoke on july 27 which means I can't drive my new car. My mother flew in from htn. in aug and has been takening care of me. Wouldn't drive me to friend because my mother is 70 and religious. So I walked on walker 2.5 miles and hitched hiked 19 miles. My buddy told all my friends that I broke out for 30 seconds of ass! But it was a good 30 seconds of ass!

We've stayed at the Waldorf in Orlando a few times, including the week it opened. Absolutely fabulous hotel. One of the very best I've ever stayed in.
