"Diet" that improves strength and performance on field
Alright boys back at it trying to maximize performance.

Here is the diet I follow to lose sloppy weight but improve strength and fitness.

Day two on it and feel better already. Feel less sluggish and weighed down.

Check it out guys, very easy to follow and if you love meat like me you'll love this, gives you healthy options with alternatives..

    CUT MEAL PLAN.xlsx

If you want any additional information just message me. Happy to help.

Sheet 1 is the breakdown of meals
Sheet 2 is the calories in each type of food
Sheet 3 is the weekly grocery list.

    well done Zacher

I'm interested to see the actual time (it can be approximate) when you take those meals in...like for example do you eat your dinner before a certain time...say 6PM? do you have a little snack after that before you go to bed?

I've been exercising and playing sports my entire life and as I get older and my metabolism slows down I'm forced to eat my dinners as early as possible.
Just curious to see what other folks do.

Pretty typical high protein low carb diet . But so boring, same meals every day even twice a day

          What's your lifting schedule like?

will post before and after pictures 01/2015 - that will give me 3 full months in the diet and 1 month of offseason in December

I lift only Mon Wed and Fri -- mixture of multi muscle group power exercises with some small muscle group movements

My daily schedule - doesn't vary much as I am pretty busy between athletics school and work

            Breakfast - 630~640am
            Snack 1 - 10am
            Lunch - 12pm~1pm
            Snack 2 (if training days) - 3pm
            Pre - 530pm
            Post - 830pm
            Dinner - 9pm

I eat late after I get home from practices…. usually around 9 by the time I get to eat…also means I am rarely hungry before bed so typically I move my nighttime snack to mid day as my days are longer before I get home…

any other questions don't hesitate… will try to answer the best I can..

I am not perfect don't claim to be ascetically but - 4x high school all american, 3x collegiate all american and on the national team radar is hard to argue against.

                      Ok so not trolling here

if you need to cut at 23 then you have a body type predisposed to gain weight and need to focus on this shit today. So good for you that you are on it, but seriously this is a lifestyle choice.

no worries… and I never said I was "cutting" did I? I am more focused on my diet in relation to my performance on the field.

and like I said earlier its not about how I look its about how I feel and how many more plays I am able to make in the game because of my diet.

And no I am no predisposed to gain weight. I hover around 255 and thats what I feel comfortable playing at...I was sidelined due to injury and was eating like I was still practicing. This is a kickstarter.

Needs more variety. Good luck though, it is a clean diet just a very, very boring one. Start looking for foods to substitute for sweet potatoes and salads and Canadian bacon, like real bacon. You do that and you've got a chance to stay with it but following this diet to a T, I don't see how you'll last more than a few months on it
