I use straight Chrome. The only popups I ever get are on my email website and here for Trivia and that's it. I hardly know what popups are anymore.

This is a great recommendation. It sounds like you have some malware on your computer causing the pop ups. You might also try Spy Bot search and destroy. Adblock is really good, one of the better free versions out there. good luck
