If you've ever been to those games, you know exactly what I'm talking about. And even if he didn't spray it everywhere....whats the odds he washed his hands after pissing and shaking it off...handed the vendor a $10 for a hotdog....that vendor then touches a coke to hand to the family in the next row....and so on. Could easily happen...its how every other germ gets passed.

My big thing is....if a kid gets a damn runny nose or pink eye or strep in preschool...those kids are sent home til its passed...banned....but if you have ebola threats we just take your temperature and throw you on a plane and say come on in and walk around.....craziness. Not saying this is gonna be the beginning of the zombie apocalypse or a mass extinction of ebola deaths in the US....but even if a dozen people contract it and die or suffer long term.....very avoidable. Unacceptable.

NaturalNews) With so many questions still remaining as to how folks like Dr. Rick Sacra, who never even treated Ebola patients, somehow managed to contract the supposedly non-airborne disease, the University of Minnesota's Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) has issued new guidelines recommending that all front-line health workers be outfitted with full respirators, a recommendation which suggests that Ebola could very well have gone airborne.

In a recent commentary, Drs. Lisa M. Brosseau, Sc.D., and Rachael Jones, Ph.D., make the case for respirators, not just face masks, as necessary equipment in the fight against Ebola. Recommending the precautionary approach in such a serious matter, the duo says that, just because it hasn't been confirmed that Ebola can transfer through the air doesn't mean that it shouldn't be treated as such, especially when people's lives are on the line.

The fact of the matter is that Ebola has never been proven not to transmit through the air, which is reason enough to assume that it does for the safety of workers on the ground. The two doctors explain that, scientifically speaking, Ebola currently has "unclear modes of transmission," meaning nobody truly knows

Definitely will be more cases, just a matter of will it be a few or a bunch. The official narrative being pushed today by the CDC tells the story- remember Obama said it was 'unlikely' to reach our shores...well now it has and they said 'well we said unlikely not impossible' and now the guy gets on the plane to dallas with it and the CDC says don't panic because it was still in incubation period in his body and that 'the passengers on the plane could have in no way contracted it from him' but when asked about people hes seen since getting out into the population they say 'we are tracing steps and trying to cover it but we are on top of it, dont worry'

This on the same week the Secret Service released the report to the press about the white house intruder and said 'he appeared unarmed' but turns out he WAS armed...and that he 'entered the portico doors and was apprehended' leaving out he made it farther in and overpowered a female guard before being tackled by an off duty agent who was on the daughter's detail and happened to just be there picking up some gear or else the intruder would have flown right past that room as well. Shady words from all sides to the public these days.

And lets dont forget the dude that beheaded the old lady in Oklahoma....somehow now he's being called a racist but not a terrorist and only charged with a normal murder while the second guy arrested who only threatened to do a beheading is being charged by homeland security under terrorism laws to hold him. Ponder that one.

You prove my point. Title is "Ebola confirmed in usa." It's been confirmed here a number of times as you point out.

In fairness to the hospital, prior to this man being diagnosed with Ebola, nobody in America had ever been diagnosed with it here. The others were diagnosed in Africa and transferred here. So it's easy to see how the hospital in Dallas would let him go home. They didn't know he had Ebola and that's not something anyone routinely tests for, well atleast it wasn't until today. Nausea/Vomiting/Diahrea/Fever are a dime a dozen in a busy ER. In a really busy ER, get a newer nurse in an understaffed hospital which in Dallas they always are, it's very easy to see how this could happen but everyone will learn from it. Everyone in our hospital received an email from our infection control dept. yesterday in regards to Ebola. I'm sure every hospital is doing the same right now.

America is much, much better equipped to handle this than is Africa. Better treatment options, will soon be better educated, most nurses here wear gloves religiously and limit exposure as much as possible to bodily fluids. That's nursing 101. In Africa, they don't wear gloves, the crowd hundreds of people in a single room with multiple infected patients and now just about everyone has it. Apples and oranges.

Normally I'd fully agree with you on that logic...but since it's Texas and has been more focused than if some other random virus broke out....we're one of 13 states approved for CDC testing...all the hospitals have been told to prep for couple months now. I'm sure there are still a few nurses or workers who didn't take it 1000% serious...that does happen...but difference in a guy from San Antonio with a cold coming in vs a man who told them he just came from Liberia and they send him home. I know Stericycle and other medical waste haulers here have been training and adjusting for the waste management aspect with it....CDC and EPA etc have been on the hospitals asses to make sure the chain of transport and eradication is in place so Texas should have been more prepared than lets say Idaho or Montana.

That's good insight itchy, I wasn't aware of that.

Off topic a bit, I'm glad I don't work in the ER any longer. Everyone at home in the DFW area that gets sick will go straight to the ER and want to be tested for Ebola. Also, anyone in the Dallas area that is vomiting and has a fever will be put in isolation and tested. It's going to be a huge pain in the ass for those places now. They will not want to miss a second case.
