Traficant was a true piece of work. I remember watching this guy as a source of entertainment. He would get on the House floor with his toupee placed sideways and ramble/yell semi-coherently about his hatred of environmentalists, Israel, immigrants, drugs, the IRS, NAFTA... awkwardly peppering his rants with Star Trek references. He was one of the last conservative Democrats, also one of the strangest and most corrupt.
