This is true. I could handle that weapon at 9 as I was big for my age. Not that my dad would let me, but my point is, I was aware of what I could handle. At 7 or 8 I probably could not handle it, but I knew it. That UZI would be considered extremely advanced for a 9yo girl of that size. I grew up around a family of very experienced shooters and was very advanced for my age but even at 9, I just don't think it would have been a good idea. No way that girl was prepared for that.

It all falls on the instructor, I would be in fear for my life if I handed that girl a loaded full auto Uzi. I just can't believe so many people didn't think that was a bad idea. I didn't even watch the video bc I've heard stories and even known people involved in accidents. The one thing they all have in common is a lapse of safe handling. Every Single One. All preventable.
