    Fall League Softball
grabbed a new Miken Ultra 750x --- THIS BAT IS HOT HOT HOT right out of the wrapper, rolled it out two weekends ago.

    Went yard last week twice.

Planning on putting a few out tonight as well.

Figured I would let all you fall league players know that if your looking for a new bat THIS IS IT

perfect mix of end load to balance.

its a $200 but yeah it gives me something to do in the rugby offseason -- good fun.

Its ASA mens 34" 26oz is the one I have but those vary obviously.

I use the Miken 2015 Freak for my USSSA play.

Playing in rec league now with the company I work for… team we played wednesday night had girls built like mac trucks and freight trains half of em had a lip in during the game and chew cans in the back pockets were smacking them all over the place. Our team lost 28-1 …one run was a walk off by myself…what a joke lol its okay though only rec league but as a really competitive guy I could've straggled a baby chicken at that point in time.

Here in Georgia -- if you hit a player or anyone in the crowd or on any other fields gets hit with a ball and "hurt" you get charged a felony with assault with a deadly weapon, like 4 people have died in the past 2 years playing because of shaved bats..

I agree with the rolling statement though -- I need to get this one rolled but the guy closest to me that does it right is like 2 hours away so its tough with the schedule to get out there -- cheap price though $25 but I think thats pretty standard

Shaved is for pussies. Grab a bat and hit the ball.

I was pitching one day for the team I was on. Some guy was using a loaded bat... miraculously.... my face didn't get splattered... as the softball whistled just literally a half an inch from my ear. One guy said... I don't know how the hell you moved in time... it was literally like a blessing from the sky above. I would of need reconstructive face surgery for sure after that hit.

My point of my post... yes I know there are laws... but only when someone gets violently hurt. There needs to be rules enforced for anyone trying to use a shaved bat. Every team goes to a shaved bat when they are trailing by huge deficits. Watch closely. And then watch how many HR's are hit during that inning. But the umpires can't do anything about it. That's why I won't play softball anymore.

You know to be honest haven't seen that many people using shaved bats more recently. I think the law scared a bunch. But you can hear it--- its ridiculous to think an umpire hears the sound it makes but won't check the bat.

Now I am a HUGE proponent for a rolled bat, rolled bats don't make any difference in construction, it just gets the bat to its hottest point instantly if done right produces huge results….done wrong….ruin that new bat
