however, this thread alone does nothing to fix the situation

you told brock for approx 3 weeks you would pay him, which is the same thing ur doing now in this thread.

but talking about it and apologizing does not fix the situation, and accomplishes nothing in the grand scheme of things

the only thing that matters here is payment, everything else is worthless, even if it sounds nice

i suggest a payment of $50 by wednesday night to brock to prove you are serious about paying him

I paid my $200 and I should be allowed to compete. I PM'ed with Brock across the street and he has accepted my apology and agreed that when I have some extra money, he will accept a payment then. SBR has been very clear over the years that they stay out of personal business. Plus, this whole fiasco took place across the street, not SBR.

I do not believe that you should pay Brock the $500. If you had won the contest, he would probably have stiffed you like he apparently stiffed the other people. He was basically getting a free roll out of you, since he probably had no intention of paying you if he lost. You are broke, so just don't pay him.
